167-Noodles, Gardening and More

Spring is a busy time at Five Feline Farm.

The Mercantile is open on Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:00 PM. We discuss on this episode how that simple change in hours helped our stress level. Sometimes it is just the little things that make a difference.

In addition to the change in hours, we talked about how we each need to do something productive in between customers. Many days there is a constant steady stream of customers at the Mercantile, but some days we have time in between. We are working on ways to fill that time. Typically Donna goes to the garden and Julia writes.

Next week we will have a special guest interview that we have been looking forward to for awhile. We are sure you will enjoy hearing from our friend about her new enterprise.

Watch our social media, website and email for updated information about the Farm.

As a reminder, we will be closed on Easter weekend.

Until next time,

Donna, Julia and the Felines

P.S. Only 3 days left to get the garden course at only $19.

166-Season Opener at the Mercantile

On today’s episode we review our Mercantile season opening; the successes and challenges. As always, we learned and are making a few changes.

One of the lessons learned is to make our opening hours more consistent. To that end we have changed our hours to 12:00 PM (noon) to 4:00 PM both Friday and Saturday. That should make it easier for both our customers and us.

In spite of that, we had a wonderful opening weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out and visited.

As we also noted during this episode, if you are interested in learning how we garden and grow produce here at Five Feline Farm, there are still a few days to enroll at the low introductory price of $19. On April 1, 2021 the price will increase. We continue to add lessons as the season progresses. You will have lifetime access to everything we add. You can get in now by following the link below:

164-Spring Has Arrived

With the arrival of warmer weather, the outdoor tasks at the farm begin in earnest. In addition to planting, transplanting and taking out invasive plants, we are preparing for the season opening of the Mercantile.

On Friday, March 19, 2021 from 10:00AM – 2:00PM we will open the Mercantile. Our onsite store features great products such as handcrafted soaps and balms, specialty baked items, jams, and produce in season. Plus we host the work of some local artisans.

In this episode we mentioned our Gardening the Five Feline Farm Way class. If you are not already enrolled, you can still get in at the low introductory price of $19.00. This gives you lifetime access to every lesson we add. The course is growing and the price will too before too much longer.

As always you can keep track of everything at Five Feline Farm through our social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) or on our email list. You will get a free downloadable ebook just for signing up.

Until next time,

Donna, Julia and the Felines
