131-As The Farm Churns

Today’s episode is designed to give you a laugh while you listen to our weekly exploits.

Each week, we find a new challenge and a plan to overcome. By the end of this past week, we found ourselves deep in gratitude for our customers, friends and this farm that provides for us in so many ways.

We continue to not only plan but execute improvements to our farm. On Fridays you will find produce in the corn crib, jam, balms and artwork in the Mercantile plus pick up your order from the home bakery.

Keep coming back, we will keep it interesting!

Until next time….

130-Mid Summer At The Farm

It’s hard to believe it is July already. Where has the year gone?

Today’s podcast gives you a quick review and update on our current activities. Beekeeping, gardening, the Mercantile and more.

The Mercantile is open every Friday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We still offer curbside pickup as well as a climate controlled, safe shopping experience inside the Mercantile.

You can also order online!

Many of our nonfood products can be shipped if you can’t make it out to the farm. Our aim is to serve you.

So come out to the farm and see where your food is grown. We do small batch, high quality products.

Until next time….

129-What To Do When It Rains

You know the old saying “when life hands you lemons, make lemonade”? Well, we have to apply similar thinking to life handing us rain. We need the rain for the gardens, but a downpour in the middle of the Farmer’s Market is not fun.

We regrouped and had a good day anyway.

The Farm Fresh Mercantile will be open on Friday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, offering fresh produce and a special item from the kitchen (on July 3, 2020 it will be English Muffins) in addition to the rest of our great products.

Pre-orders are required for English Muffins, so order early before we run out.

We still offer curbside pickup or one household at a time can shop inside the Mercantile building.

Until next time….

128-A Week In A Day

Did you ever have one of those days that just went on and on? We had one just this past Thursday.

The good news is that at the end of the day, we had accomplished many things, even though it took all day.

As we move forward we are excited to move back into the climate controlled Mercantile on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. On Friday, June 26, the featured baked item will be mini-pies. Check the online store to order.

You can also monitor our social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to find out what is happening at the Farm.

Until next time….
