On this podcast episode, you will hear us discuss the end of our run at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market and the beginning of our new plans. We are still planning for the farm business and ready to take our next steps in growth.
The first of those changes also started this past weekend when we began delivery of Gert’s Garden 2 Go © to Charleston, IL addresses. This new service is somewhat of a cross between a CSA and a farmer’s market on wheels. You order the size, we fill the order with a fresh selection of produce straight from the garden AND deliver to your door.
Curbside and pick up are still available at the Farm most Fridays.

On today’s podcast we share the news of the week here at Five Feline Farm and introduce our new delivery service for Charleston, IL customers.
We have also decided that August 1, 2020 will be our last farmer’s market. Our business is moving in a new direction which will allow us to grow and increase accessibility for our customers. We appreciate our time at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market, but it is time for us to change. Without change, there can be no growth.
Gert’s Garden 2 Go will include pre-selected boxes of produce at $10, $15 and $20 levels. You can also add other items from our store and we will deliver to your door. Or, if you would like to make a short drive to the country, you can arrange for pick up here at the Farm. Simply indicate at checkout “delivery” or “pick up”.
If you need assistance with our online ordering system, please call 217-345-7331 or email store.support@fivefelinefarm.com.
The Mercantile will continue to be open on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We will also be open on Saturdays beginning August 8, 2020. Hours on Saturday will also be 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Until next time….

Each week, we find a new challenge and a plan to overcome. By the end of this past week, we found ourselves deep in gratitude for our customers, friends and this farm that provides for us in so many ways.
We continue to not only plan but execute improvements to our farm. On Fridays you will find produce in the corn crib, jam, balms and artwork in the Mercantile plus pick up your order from the home bakery.
Keep coming back, we will keep it interesting!
Until next time….
