132-Summer Vegies At The Farm

Summer is upon us and that means great food from the garden. We are eating and selling sweet corn, eggplant, peppers, potatoes, green beans and tomatoes. Well, soon we will be selling tomatoes.

In this episode you will hear about the current harvest and how we eat some of that harvest.

We are also excited to announce our new delivery service to Charleston, IL. If you are unable to make it out to the farm or to the farmer’s market, check out our website, place an order and we will deliver to you on Saturday afternoon. There may be a few bumps along the way as we work out the details, but our desire is to be inclusive and get great products to everyone.

Stay current with our social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

131-As The Farm Churns

Today’s episode is designed to give you a laugh while you listen to our weekly exploits.

Each week, we find a new challenge and a plan to overcome. By the end of this past week, we found ourselves deep in gratitude for our customers, friends and this farm that provides for us in so many ways.

We continue to not only plan but execute improvements to our farm. On Fridays you will find produce in the corn crib, jam, balms and artwork in the Mercantile plus pick up your order from the home bakery.

Keep coming back, we will keep it interesting!

Until next time….

Donna, Julia and the Felines

P.S. If you are not already on our email list, sign up here. You’ll get a free ebook “Wisdom From The Bees” and farm info direct to your inbox.
