We continue our conversation with Michael and Beth Gillespie, turning to the topic of food insecurity in our community. We learned what it means to be food insecure and what those of us who are able can do to help.

Thank you for listening and be sure to support your local food banks.
Today our guests on the interview are our great friends Michael and Beth Gillespie, talking about all things food. This is the first of a two-part interview talking about farmer’s markets, food availability, the vegan lifestyle and more.
A rainy day can be good for lots of things. Our regular Saturday morning Farmer’s Market was cancelled, so we made the best use of our time we could and did some home canning.
It’s easy to get mired down in emotional mud, looking at only the things to do, not all that has been accomplished. Today we talk about how we are trying to focus on what we can do, chunking tasks as necessary.
