You know the old saying “when life hands you lemons, make lemonade”? Well, we have to apply similar thinking to life handing us rain. We need the rain for the gardens, but a downpour in the middle of the Farmer’s Market is not fun.
We regrouped and had a good day anyway.
The Farm Fresh Mercantile will be open on Friday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, offering fresh produce and a special item from the kitchen (on July 3, 2020 it will be English Muffins) in addition to the rest of our great products.
Pre-orders are required for English Muffins, so order early before we run out.

We still offer curbside pickup or one household at a time can shop inside the Mercantile building.
Until next time….

P.S. Here’s that link to Medium we told you about.
Market season is in full swing. This episode discusses our first Saturday at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market and what we are doing at the Farm.
We are continuing to be open at the farm on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, then at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
For the time being, at the Farm we will have a limited set up in the crib so that everyone can be outside and safe. Most Fridays we will have a baked item available to order that is not offered at the market on Saturday. Watch our social media for more information on what is offered week to week. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) We will also add these items to our online Mercantile.
Stay safe everyone.
Until next time….

As a business, Five Feline Farm is always working to improve and expand. Sometimes in that effort, we find ourselves stretched beyond what we can manage.
This episode shares some of our thoughts about what we have tried to do and how we are making changes to remain true to ourselves.
Don’t forget to monitor our social media feeds (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for up to date information on what we have available at the Mercantile and 18th Street Farmer’s Market. We will be re-joining the Farmer’s Market this Saturday, June 6, 2020.
On Fridays, we will be open at the Farm, either outside or inside the Mercantile from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
A huge shout out and thank you to everyone who is sticking by us in these times of change.
Until next time…..
Donna, Julia and the Felines
Spring has finally arrived and fresh vegetables are becoming available. In this episode we discuss what it means to eat seasonally. All vegetables are not available at the same time. Some foods are a treat and a delicacy, only available in Spring.
Right now, we have chive blossoms, tender salad blend lettuce, radishes and spring garlic.
Beginning Friday, May 29, 2020 we will h ave a produce stand open at the Farm on Fridays from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Produce will first come, first served. Scones will be available through pre-order only on the website. Orders are due by 3:00 PM on Thursdays. All of our other products: jam, balms, soaps, shampoo bars, etc. are also available online.
On June 6, 2020, we will start at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market in Charleston on Saturday mornings: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
We hope to see all of you soon.
Thanks for being awesome fans!
