We are blessed to have plenty to do while under the stay at home order to combat coronavirus. In fact, many of our spring tasks are ahead of schedule.
While Donna has been planting in the eighteen new beds around the property, Julia tended to the honeybees and ventured a little too close.

Nature has continued to move forward even as the rest of the world appears to be near a standstill. We are removing invasives, planting seeds, harvesting early greens and doing what we can to stay busy. On a farm, there is always plenty to do.
We are grateful to all of those who continue to work in this time of uncertainty and equally grateful to those staying at home to prevent spread of COVID-19.

We are enjoying the Spring weather and getting as much done as possible in between rains. In addition, we have opened the Mercantile for the first time this season.
Today’s episode is a review of the last week here on the Farm and how excited we are to keep moving forward.

Finally, spring is arriving in the Northern Hemisphere and it is time to get in the garden.
At Five Feline Farm, we are building new raised beds, transferring seedlings to the greenhouses from the basement grow station and rooting out invasive plants. What a great time!
Plus, the Farm Fresh Mercantile will be re-opening on March 7, 2020. If you are interested in ordering scones or mini-pies to pick up, contact us by 5:00PM on March 5.
