130-Mid Summer At The Farm

It’s hard to believe it is July already. Where has the year gone?

Today’s podcast gives you a quick review and update on our current activities. Beekeeping, gardening, the Mercantile and more.

The Mercantile is open every Friday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We still offer curbside pickup as well as a climate controlled, safe shopping experience inside the Mercantile.

You can also order online!

Many of our nonfood products can be shipped if you can’t make it out to the farm. Our aim is to serve you.

So come out to the farm and see where your food is grown. We do small batch, high quality products.

Until next time….

126-Farmer’s Market Plus Farm Improvements

Market season is in full swing. This episode discusses our first Saturday at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market and what we are doing at the Farm.

We are continuing to be open at the farm on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, then at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

For the time being, at the Farm we will have a limited set up in the crib so that everyone can be outside and safe. Most Fridays we will have a baked item available to order that is not offered at the market on Saturday. Watch our social media for more information on what is offered week to week. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) We will also add these items to our online Mercantile.

Stay safe everyone.

Until next time….

It feels like Spring is moving into Summer as the tiny garden seeds begin to grow. We have almost all of the garden planted and are dreaming of more garden beds.

This episode finds us talking through a few updates and lessons learned as well as our next step with the garden. (Hint: fresh cut herbs.)

So sit back and enjoy.

122-This Week at The Farm

As we move past Mother’s Day and into our farmer’s market season there are many challenges to overcome.

On this episode you will hear us discuss recent challenges from accessing high quality flour to managing a late spring freeze to preparing for our online ordering system for the farmer’s market.

To order online go to our Mercantile page. You have two options: pick up your order at the 18th Street Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings or for non-food items, we can ship across the U.S.
